LinkedIn Recruiting & Job Postings: Complete Guide | WarmySender
LinkedIn Recruiting & Job Postings
What Is LinkedIn Recruiting in WarmySender?
WarmySender's Recruiting feature gives you full job posting management and applicant tracking directly from your outreach dashboard. Create jobs, publish them to LinkedIn, review applicants, download resumes, and manage hiring projects — all without leaving the platform.
Use Cases
1. Recruiting Agencies
Manage multiple job postings across client accounts from one dashboard. Each LinkedIn account can have its own active job postings.
2. Internal HR Teams
Post open positions and track applicants alongside your outbound recruiting campaigns. Combine inbound (job applicants) with outbound (LinkedIn outreach) in one tool.
3. Sales Teams Using Jobs as Lead Magnets
Post job openings in your target market to attract decision-makers who view the posting. Even if they don't apply, they see your company name and profile.
4. Staffing Firms
Download applicant resumes in bulk for candidate databases. Sort and filter applicants efficiently across multiple positions.
Creating Job Postings
- Go to LinkedIn → Recruiting in the sidebar
- Select your LinkedIn account
- Click "Create Job"
- Fill in the required fields:
- Job Title — Be specific: "Senior Backend Engineer" not "Developer"
- Company — Your company or client name
- Workplace Type — On-site, Hybrid, or Remote
- Employment Type — Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship
- Location — City or "Remote"
- Description — Keep under 2,000 characters for mobile readability
- Submit to save as a draft
Publishing Jobs
After creating a draft, click "Publish" to make it live on LinkedIn. Free publishing is available for most jobs. If LinkedIn requires verification (email or OTP code), a dialog will appear for you to enter the code.
Managing Applicants
- Switch to the "Applicants" tab
- Select a job from the dropdown
- Sort by newest, relevance, or alphabetical order
- Each applicant card shows: name, headline, location, rating, email
- Click "Download Resume" to get their resume file
Hiring Projects (Recruiter Accounts Only)
If you have a LinkedIn Recruiter account, view your hiring projects and their associated job postings in the "Hiring Projects" tab.
Closing Jobs
Close active job postings when positions are filled. Click "Close" on any active job — a confirmation dialog appears before the action is executed.
Best Practices
- Use specific job titles — "Senior React Developer" outperforms "Frontend Developer" by 40% in applicant quality
- Keep descriptions concise (under 2,000 characters) — mobile users see even less
- Respond to applicants within 48 hours for best candidate experience
- Close filled positions promptly to maintain your employer brand
- Post jobs on Monday or Tuesday morning for maximum visibility
Rate Limits
Maximum 2 job postings per day per LinkedIn account. Drafts do not count toward this limit. If you need more, use multiple LinkedIn accounts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Recruiter account to use this?
No. Any LinkedIn account type (Free, Premium, Sales Navigator, or Recruiter) can create and manage job postings. The Hiring Projects tab is the only Recruiter-exclusive feature.
Is there a cost for posting jobs?
LinkedIn offers free job posting for most positions. Premium job slots may require payment directly through LinkedIn.
Can I edit a published job?
You can edit draft jobs before publishing. Once published, edits are limited — close and recreate if major changes are needed.
Why are applicant emails not showing?
Not all applicants share their email. The email field displays only when the applicant has made it available through LinkedIn.
Can I post jobs from multiple accounts?
Yes. Select a different LinkedIn account from the dropdown to post jobs from that account. Each account has its own 2/day limit.
