Email verification limits & credits
Your plan includes a set number of email verification credits each month, plus a smaller daily allowance that paces those checks across the day. One credit verifies one email address, and every verification fits within both limits — what's left this month and what's left today. Your monthly allowance refreshes at the start of every month, and your daily allowance refreshes each day, so you always start fresh on both. This page explains exactly how the two allowances work together, why they're there (they protect your deliverability), how to see how many checks you have left, and how to get more.
WarmySender is a 4-pillar outreach platform — Cold Emailing, Email Warmup, LinkedIn Outreach, and Multichannel sequences. The Email Verifier is part of Cold Emailing: clean your list before you send so more of your messages reach the inbox and your sender reputation stays strong.
How the verification allowance works
There are two allowances working together, and every verification fits within both — like minutes on a plan that has both a monthly bucket and a gentler daily one:
- One credit verifies one address. Whether you check a single email or upload a list of thousands, each address you verify uses one credit.
- A monthly allowance. Your plan includes a number of verifications per month. They refresh at the start of each new month — your usage goes back to zero and you have your full amount again. Unused credits don't roll over; each month starts fresh.
- A smaller daily allowance. On top of the monthly total, there's a daily amount that spreads your checks evenly across the day. It refreshes every day, so if you reach it you can simply pick up again tomorrow. It doesn't reduce your monthly total — it only paces how quickly you draw from it. (More on why that's there below.)
- “Unknown” results are free. If we can't confirm an address either way (some receiving mail systems, especially large enterprise and Microsoft-protected domains, won't reveal whether a mailbox exists), that result comes back as Unknown and does not use a credit against either allowance. You're only ever charged for results we could actually confirm — Valid, Risky, or Invalid. (See what your verification results mean.)
- Available on paid plans. The Email Verifier is included on every paid plan, Pro and up. It isn't part of the free trial — start a plan to unlock it.
How many verifications do I get?
Each plan includes a generous monthly verification allowance, plus a smaller daily allowance (its monthly total divided by 30). Here's what's included:
| Plan | Verifications per month | Daily pace (about) |
|---|---|---|
| Pro | 300 / month | ~10 / day |
| Enterprise | 1,500 / month | ~50 / day |
| Ultimate | 10,000 / month | ~333 / day |
Already on the older Business plan? You keep 1,000 verifications a month (about 33 a day). Business is grandfathered for existing subscribers; the plans above are the current lineup.
Remember that Unknown results are free, so your real, usable allowance often stretches further than the number above — only confirmed results count against it. The pricing page always shows the current allowance for each plan alongside everything else that's included.
Treat the monthly numbers above as your headline allowance and the daily one as the rhythm you draw it down at. The daily allowance is simply your monthly total divided by 30, and it paces your checks evenly across the day so results stay fast and accurate. The page header always shows exactly how many you have left today (see below).
What changed (June 2026): we rebalanced the monthly allowances — Pro went from 500 to 300 a month and Enterprise from 3,000 to 1,500 a month; Ultimate stays at 10,000 a month. Each plan now also has a daily allowance equal to its monthly total divided by 30 (about 10 a day on Pro, 50 a day on Enterprise, and 333 a day on Ultimate). Unknown results remain free and never count against either total.
A worked example: verifying a 300-contact list
Say you have a 300-contact list you want to clean before a campaign. Here's exactly how it plays out on each plan, so you can pick the pace that fits your timeline:
| Plan | Monthly allowance | Daily pace | Time to clear 300 contacts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | 300 / month | ~10 / day | A batch of ~10 each day — the full list over about a month |
| Enterprise | 1,500 / month | ~50 / day | The whole list in about 6 days (50 a day) |
| Ultimate | 10,000 / month | ~333 / day | The whole list in a single day |
The takeaway: on Pro, your monthly allowance of 300 easily covers all 300 contacts — the daily pace of about 10 a day just spreads the checks out, so you verify a batch of ~10 each day (and that's the healthy rhythm anyway: clean the addresses you're about to send to). If you'd rather clear the whole list in a few days, upgrading to Enterprise (1,500 a month, about 50 a day) does it in roughly six days, and the larger allowance applies immediately. Because Unknown results are free, any addresses that come back Unknown don't use a credit — so your real, usable allowance often stretches a little further than the numbers above.
Why there's a limit (and why that's good for you)
A monthly allowance isn't a restriction for its own sake — it's there to keep verification doing its real job: protecting your deliverability. Here's the thinking:
- It keeps results fast and accurate. Verification works best when it's checking the lists you're actually about to send. A sensible allowance keeps the system responsive and the answers reliable for everyone, rather than being tied up re-checking the same stale data over and over.
- It encourages verifying close to send time. An email address that was real six months ago may not be today. Verifying the list you're about to email — rather than every address you've ever collected — gives you the most accurate picture and the lowest bounce rate, which is exactly what keeps you landing in the inbox.
- Clean lists protect your sender reputation. The whole point of verification is to stop you sending to addresses that don't exist, because bounces are one of the biggest things that damage your reputation. Using your allowance on the lists that matter most is the highest-value way to spend it.
In short: the allowance is sized so you can keep your active lists clean, send confidently, and protect the sender reputation you've built with email warmup.
The daily allowance — what it is and why it's there
On top of your monthly total, each plan has a smaller daily allowance. It's a friendly pace, not a penalty — here's exactly what it does and why it helps you:
- It paces your verifications across the day. Rather than letting one enormous batch run all at once, the daily allowance spreads your checks out. That keeps every result fast and accurate, which is the whole point of verifying in the first place.
- It protects your deliverability and reputation. Verifying in steady, sensible chunks — and then sending to the addresses you've just confirmed — is exactly the habit that keeps your bounce rate low and your sender reputation strong.
- It does not reduce your monthly allowance. Your monthly total is completely unaffected by the daily pace. The daily allowance only changes how quickly you draw from your monthly bucket on any single day — every credit you don't use today is still there for the rest of the month.
- It refreshes every day. A new day means a fresh daily allowance, automatically. If you reach today's amount, you simply continue tomorrow.
The exact daily figure is your monthly total divided by 30 — roughly 10 a day on Pro, 50 a day on Enterprise, and about 333 a day on Ultimate. The Email Verifier header always shows how many you have left today, so you never have to guess.
What happens when you reach the daily allowance: you simply can't start new verifications until it refreshes tomorrow — your monthly allowance is untouched, and anything you've uploaded is just picked up the next day. You'll see a clear message in the Email Verifier letting you know you've reached today's amount and that it refreshes the following day.
How fast a list verifies (and running several at once)
Verification runs at a steady, deliberately safe pace. Rather than firing an entire list through in one burst, we check addresses in a measured, even flow — that's what keeps each result accurate and protects your sender reputation. Here's what to expect while a list is running, and what happens when you run more than one.
- A few thousand addresses take tens of minutes. As a rough guide, a list of a few thousand addresses finishes on the order of tens of minutes — a 6,000-address list takes roughly 25 minutes, and bigger lists take proportionally longer. Your list keeps moving the whole time: the progress view updates continuously as each address is checked, so you can watch the verified count climb and the pending count fall. It's never frozen — just working steadily.
- You can run several lists at once, and they share the pace. Running more than one list at the same time is completely safe. When you do, the lists share that same steady pace and take turns, so they advance together and finish around the same time rather than one fully completing before the other starts. Because they take turns, a second list can sit near 0 for a bit at the start while the first is being worked — that's expected, it isn't stuck, it's simply waiting its turn and will catch up.
Example: start a 6,000-address list (about 25 minutes on its own), then start a second 6,000-address list alongside it. Both move at roughly half speed while they share the pace; once the first finishes, the remaining list speeds back up. If you'd rather clear one big list as fast as possible, run it by itself — or use purchased credits, which skip the daily pace.
How to see how many verifications you have left
Both your monthly and your daily totals are always visible while you work:
- Open the Email Verifier from the sidebar.
- At the top of the page, you'll see a monthly usage indicator that reads something like “120 / 300 used this month” — that's how many of your monthly credits you've used and your total for the plan.
- Right alongside it is a daily indicator, shown as something like “4 / 10 today” — that's how many you've used today and how many you still have for the rest of the day. It resets each day.
- When you upload a list, WarmySender checks it against both. If a list is larger than what you have left this month — or larger than what's left for today — you'll see a clear message telling you how many you have available so you can trim the list, continue tomorrow, or upgrade. Nothing is verified part-way and counted unexpectedly.
Because Unknown results are free, you may notice your used counts rise by fewer than the number of addresses in a batch — that's expected, and it's the free Unknown results not counting against either total.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing breaks either way — you simply can't start new verifications until the relevant allowance refreshes or you add more. There are two cases, and both are gentle:
- If you reach today's daily allowance: new checks pause until tomorrow, when the daily allowance refreshes automatically. Your monthly allowance is completely untouched, so this is just a matter of continuing the next day — anything you've uploaded is picked up then.
- If you use up your monthly allowance: new checks pause until the start of the next month, when your monthly usage resets and you have your full amount again. You can also upgrade to raise it straight away (see how to get more below).
- Your existing results stay put. In both cases, everything you've already verified remains available — your past batches, their results, and your campaign-ready exports are all still there.
- You can upgrade for more right away. If you need a bigger monthly allowance, moving to a higher plan raises it (and the daily pace) immediately.
- You can still send. Reaching a verification limit doesn't stop your campaigns or your warmup — it only pauses new verification checks. If you have addresses you couldn't verify yet, you can still send them with warmup running on your mailbox to protect your reputation.
"My list finished with 0 verified" — and when it resets
If you started a list and it finished right away showing 0 addresses verified — often with a note that you've reached today's verification limit — here's exactly what happened and what to do. It's not an error, and you weren't charged: a list that didn't verify uses none of your allowance.
- What happened: the list was larger than what your daily allowance had left for today, so rather than verify part of it and stop unexpectedly, WarmySender held the whole list for you. Reaching today's limit means new verifications pause — the list simply waits.
- When your allowance resets: your daily allowance resets every day, at the start of the next day — you begin the new day with your full daily amount again. (Your monthly allowance resets at the start of each new month.) Your used-today count goes back to zero automatically; there's nothing to reset by hand.
- What to do: once your allowance has reset, run the same list again and it goes straight through — nothing was lost, and the list is exactly as you left it. If you'd rather not wait, purchased credits skip the daily pace and clear a big list right away, or you can upgrade for a larger allowance that applies immediately.
- If only part of your list fits today: the part that fits verifies now, and you can run the rest once your allowance resets. When you upload, WarmySender tells you the exact number you can verify right now, so you always know how much fits.
Example. You're on Pro (about 10 a day) and upload a list of 40 addresses with your daily allowance untouched. Ten verify today; the remaining thirty wait. Come back the next day, run the list again, and the next batch of ten goes through — and so on until the whole list is done. Nothing is ever charged for the addresses that haven't been verified yet.
Using your verified results in a campaign
When a verification finishes, you don't have to sort the results by hand, and you never have to download and re-upload a spreadsheet just to send to the good addresses. WarmySender turns your results into a clean, ready-to-use list you can launch a campaign to in one click — and, importantly, it never edits your original list or touches your existing campaigns, so nothing is duplicated and no one is contacted twice.
- A clean list of the good addresses, ready for a campaign. The Valid and Risky addresses — the ones that are good to email — are gathered into a brand-new list named after your original with “- Verified” on the end. It's a separate list you can point a campaign straight at, so you can send to just the good addresses in one click — no exporting, no re-importing.
- Uploaded a CSV? Just click “Create clean list”. Verifying a CSV you uploaded works exactly the same way. When it finishes, a Create clean list button builds the very same ready-to-use list of Valid and Risky addresses — so a one-off spreadsheet becomes a campaign-ready audience with a single click. You do not need to download the results and re-upload a trimmed CSV; existing contacts are reused automatically, so there are never any duplicates.
- Your original list and campaigns are left exactly as they were. The verified list is created alongside your original — nothing is moved, merged, or overwritten, and no existing campaign is edited. Because the good addresses are a fresh list rather than a change to something already sending, there's no risk of duplicating anyone or emailing a contact twice. Anyone already in your account is reused rather than added again, and addresses that came back Invalid are quietly kept out of sending so your campaigns skip them.
- You can also download the full results as a CSV. Prefer to work in a spreadsheet or import elsewhere? Every finished list has a Download option that gives you a CSV of every address with its result (Valid, Risky, Unknown, Invalid). Use the ready-made verified list for a one-click campaign, or the CSV if you'd rather handle the results yourself — whichever suits you.
See what your verification results mean for how to act on each result once you have them.
Uploading a file: up to 20,000 addresses each
Each file you upload to verify can hold up to 20,000 email addresses. If you have a bigger list, simply split it into a few files and upload them one after another — they'll each verify at the same steady pace, and you can build a clean list from each one when it finishes.
Why a per-file limit helps you: keeping each file to 20,000 addresses keeps every verification fast and accurate, and it makes progress easy to follow — you can watch each file move and build its clean list without waiting on one enormous upload. If a file has more than 20,000 addresses, you'll see a clear message asking you to split it, so nothing is ever half-processed.
How to get more verifications
If you regularly need more than your plan includes, upgrading is the way to raise your monthly allowance:
- Go to Settings → Billing, or open the Email Verifier and use the Upgrade Plan button shown when you're out of verifications.
- Choose a higher plan. The allowance grows at each step: Pro (300 / month, ~10 / day) → Enterprise (1,500 / month, ~50 / day) → Ultimate (10,000 / month, ~333 / day) — along with more mailboxes and higher sending volume at each tier.
- Your new, larger allowance applies immediately, so you can pick up right where you left off — no waiting for the next billing cycle.
Prefer a one-time top-up? You can also buy verification credits in one-time packs. Purchased credits never expire and skip the daily pace — so they're the fastest way to clear a big list right away without moving to a higher plan. Your monthly allowance is always used first; credits wait in reserve behind it. Not sure which to reach for? Monthly allowance vs. credit packs, compared side by side walks through the choice when you have a big list to clean today.
Two ways to make every credit go further before you upgrade: verify the lists you're actually about to send (rather than your whole historical database at once), and lean on the fact that Unknown results are free. For most senders, a focused, verify-before-you-send habit keeps you comfortably inside your plan's allowance.
Frequently asked questions
What is WarmySender's email verification limit?
Every paid plan includes a monthly email verification allowance plus a smaller daily allowance, and each verification has to fit within both. Pro includes 300 verifications a month (about 10 a day), Enterprise includes 1,500 a month (about 50 a day), and Ultimate includes 10,000 a month (about 333 a day). The daily allowance is simply the monthly total divided by 30, and it paces your checks evenly across the day so results stay fast and accurate. One credit verifies one address, the monthly allowance refreshes at the start of each month with no rollover, and “Unknown” results are free — they never count against either limit. (Existing Business-plan subscribers keep 1,000 a month, about 33 a day.)
How do I increase my email verification limit?
Upgrade to a higher plan, and the larger allowance applies immediately. The upgrade path is Pro (300 a month) → Enterprise (1,500 a month) → Ultimate (10,000 a month), and each step raises both your monthly allowance and your daily pace. Go to Settings → Billing and choose the higher plan, or use the Upgrade Plan button shown on the Email Verifier when you've reached a limit. There's no separate per-credit purchase to manage — moving up a plan is how you get more. Before upgrading, you can also stretch your current allowance by verifying just the lists you're about to send (rather than your whole history at once) and by remembering that Unknown results are free.
Why was my list rejected or flagged as larger than my daily allowance?
When you upload a list, WarmySender checks its size against what you have left — both this month and today — before it starts, so you're never charged part-way through unexpectedly. If the list has more addresses than your remaining daily allowance, you'll see a clear message with the exact number you can verify right now. You have three easy options: trim the upload to fit today's remaining allowance, wait for the daily allowance to refresh the next day (the same list is simply picked up then — nothing is lost), or upgrade to a higher plan for a larger allowance that applies right away. For example, a 300-contact list on Pro (10 a day) verifies over a few days at the daily pace, or all at once within a few days on Enterprise (50 a day).
Is the verification limit daily or monthly?
It's both. Your plan includes a monthly allowance (your main, headline amount) and a smaller daily allowance equal to that monthly total divided by 30 — about 10 a day on Pro, 50 a day on Enterprise, and 333 a day on Ultimate. Every verification needs room in both — it has to fit within what you have left this month and what you have left today. The monthly allowance refreshes at the start of each new month; the daily one refreshes every day. The daily allowance doesn't reduce your monthly total at all — it just spreads your verifications out so results stay fast and accurate, which is what protects your deliverability. And Unknown results are free against both, so they never use up either allowance. Unused verifications don't carry over to the next month.
Why is my list verifying slowly, and why does a second list show 0 at first?
Both are normal. Verification runs at a steady, deliberately safe pace so every result stays accurate and your sender reputation is protected — we check addresses in a measured, even flow rather than one big burst. As a rough guide, a few thousand addresses take on the order of tens of minutes: a 6,000-address list finishes in roughly 25 minutes. Your list keeps moving the whole time — the progress view updates continuously as each address is checked, so you can watch the verified count climb and the pending count fall, and each running list shows an estimated time remaining (“about N minutes left”) plus its current speed so you always know roughly how long it will take. If you start a second list while the first is still going, the two share that same steady pace and take turns, so the second one can sit near 0 for a bit at the start — it isn't stuck, it's simply waiting its turn. Both lists then advance together and finish around the same time. For example, start a second 6,000-address list alongside the first and each moves at roughly half speed until the first one wraps up, at which point the remaining one speeds back up.
Can I run multiple verification lists at the same time?
Yes — you can have more than one list verifying at once, and it's completely safe. When you do, the lists share the same steady verification pace and take turns, so they advance together and finish around the same time rather than one fully completing before the other starts. That means a second list can look like it's barely moving at first while the first list is being worked — that's expected, not a sign anything is wrong. Nothing is lost and nothing is at risk; the lists simply share the pace. If you need a big list cleared as fast as possible on its own, run it by itself, or use purchased credits, which skip the daily pace.
What counts as one verification (one credit)?
One credit verifies one email address. It's the same whether you check a single address or upload a list — each address you verify uses one credit, drawn from both your monthly and your daily allowance, and only addresses we could confirm (Valid, Risky, or Invalid) count. Importantly, Unknown results are free and never use a credit against either allowance, so if part of a list comes back Unknown, those don't reduce your totals. That means your usable allowance often goes a little further than the headline number.
Do Unknown results use up my verifications?
No. Unknown results are free and never count against either your monthly allowance or your daily allowance. An Unknown result simply means we couldn't confirm the address either way — often because a heavily protected receiving system (such as a large enterprise or Microsoft-protected domain) won't reveal whether a mailbox exists. Since that's not something wrong with the address and not an answer we could actually give you, we don't charge a credit for it. You're only ever charged for confirmed results.
How do I see how many verifications I have left?
Open the Email Verifier from the sidebar and look at the two usage indicators at the top of the page. One shows your monthly use and total (for example, "120 / 300 used this month"); right beside it, a daily indicator shows how many you've used today and have left for the rest of the day (for example, "4 / 10 today"). When you upload a list, WarmySender checks it against both and tells you clearly if the list is larger than what you have left this month or today, so you're never surprised.
What happens when I run out of verifications?
It depends which limit you reach. If you hit today's daily allowance, new checks simply pause until it refreshes the next day — your monthly allowance stays untouched, so you just continue tomorrow. If you use up your monthly allowance, new checks pause until it refreshes at the start of the next month, or until you upgrade for a larger allowance. Either way, nothing you've already verified is lost — your past batches, results, and exports stay available — and your campaigns and warmup keep running normally; only new verification checks are paused. If you have addresses you couldn't verify yet, you can still send them with warmup running on your mailbox to protect your reputation.
Why did my list finish with 0 addresses verified, or say I hit a daily limit?
Because the list was larger than what your daily allowance had left for today, so WarmySender held the whole list rather than verify part of it and stop unexpectedly. It's not an error, and nothing was charged — a list that didn't verify uses none of your allowance. Your daily allowance resets every day (at the start of the next day), and your monthly allowance resets at the start of each new month. Once your allowance has reset, run the same list again and it goes straight through — nothing was lost. If only part of a list fits today, the part that fits verifies now and you can run the rest after the reset; the upload screen always tells you the exact number you can verify right now. Prefer not to wait? Purchased credits skip the daily pace and clear a big list right away, or upgrading raises your allowance immediately.
When does my verification allowance reset?
Your daily allowance resets every day — you start each new day with your full daily amount again, and your used-today count goes back to zero automatically. Your monthly allowance resets at the start of each new month, when your monthly usage resets to zero and you have your plan's full amount again (unused verifications don't roll over). So if you reached today's limit, you simply pick up the next day; if you used up the month, you're back to full at the start of the next month, or you can upgrade for a larger allowance that applies immediately. Either way, a list you already uploaded is just picked up again once your allowance resets — re-run it and it goes straight through.
How do I use my verified emails in a campaign?
You don't have to download and re-upload anything. When a verification finishes, WarmySender gathers the Valid and Risky addresses (the ones that are good to email) into a new, ready-to-use list named after your original with “- Verified” on the end — and you point a fresh campaign straight at that list in one click. This works whether you verified an existing list or a CSV you uploaded: for a CSV upload, a Create clean list button builds the very same campaign-ready list. Your original list and existing campaigns are never edited, anyone already in your account is reused (so there are no duplicates and no one is contacted twice), and addresses that came back Invalid are kept out of sending. Prefer a spreadsheet? Every finished list also has a Download option that gives you a CSV of every address and its result.
Why can I only upload 20,000 emails at a time?
Each file you upload to verify can hold up to 20,000 email addresses. It's a per-file limit, not a limit on how much you can verify overall — if you have a larger list, just split it into a few files and upload them one after another. Keeping each file to 20,000 addresses keeps every verification fast and accurate and makes progress easy to follow, so you're never waiting on one enormous upload. If a file has more than 20,000 addresses, you'll see a clear message asking you to split it, and nothing is charged or half-processed until you do. Each file still gives you its own one-click clean list when it finishes.
Do verified results update my existing lists and campaigns automatically, or do I re-upload the CSV?
Neither is forced on you — you get both options, and your existing lists and campaigns are never edited behind your back. When a verification finishes, WarmySender automatically gathers the Valid and Risky addresses (the ones that are good to email) into a new, ready-to-use list named after your original with “- Verified” on the end. That new list sits alongside your original — nothing is moved, merged, or overwritten, and no existing campaign is changed — so you can point a fresh campaign at just the good addresses with no risk of duplicating anyone or emailing a contact twice. This applies to CSV uploads too: after a CSV finishes verifying, a Create clean list button builds the same ready-to-use list, so you never have to download the results and re-upload a trimmed spreadsheet. (Addresses that came back Invalid are quietly marked so your campaigns skip them, and existing contacts are reused rather than duplicated.) If you'd rather work in a spreadsheet, every finished list also has a Download option that gives you a CSV of every address and its result. Use the ready-made verified list for a one-click campaign, or the CSV to handle the results yourself — whichever you prefer.
Is the Email Verifier included in my plan, or is it an extra cost?
The Email Verifier is included on every paid plan, Pro and up — the monthly verification allowance comes with your plan at no extra charge. It isn't part of the free trial, so you'll start a plan to unlock it. If you need a larger allowance than your plan includes, moving to a higher plan raises it; there's no separate per-credit purchase to manage.
How do I get more verifications?
Upgrade to a higher plan from Settings → Billing (or use the Upgrade Plan button on the Email Verifier when you're out). Each step up includes a larger monthly verification allowance — and a higher daily pace too — and the new allowance applies right away. Before upgrading, you can also stretch your current allowance by verifying the lists you're about to send rather than your entire history at once, and by remembering that Unknown results are free. If you have a big list, spreading it across a couple of days keeps you comfortably within the daily allowance as well.
Do unused verifications roll over to next month?
No — each month starts fresh with your full allowance, and any unused verifications from the previous month don't carry over. This keeps the system simple and predictable: you always know you have your plan's full amount available at the start of every month. The most reliable way to get value from your allowance is to verify your active lists close to when you send them, since an address that was valid months ago may not be today.
