What one credit is

• One credit verifies one address. It works exactly like your monthly free allowance — whether you check a single email or upload a list of thousands, each address you verify uses one credit.
• Only confirmed results cost a credit. A result we could confirm — Valid, Risky, or Invalid — uses one credit.
• “Unknown” results are free. If we can't confirm an address either way (some receiving mail systems, especially large enterprise and Microsoft-protected domains, won't reveal whether a mailbox exists), that result comes back as Unknown and does not use a credit — or your monthly allowance. Credit packs

Credits come in one-time packs, so you can buy exactly what you need. Every pack never expires, and the larger the pack, the lower the cost per verification. Here's the full lineup:

How to buy credits

Credits are added to your account instantly — there's nothing to schedule or activate:

1. Open the Email Verifier from the sidebar, or go to Settings → Billing.
2. Choose a credit pack — from 1,000 credits up to 100,000, whichever fits the list you have in mind.
3. Check out securely. Your credits are added right away — your balance goes up by the number of credits in the pack, ready to use immediately.
4. Start verifying. Your monthly free allowance is used first; once that's spent, your checks draw from your credits — with no daily pace on the credit portion.

Because credits never expire, there's no rush to use a pack — buy a larger one now and draw it down over time if that's simpler.

Cancel a list and unused credits come straight back

Changed your mind, uploaded the wrong file, or want to stop a list partway through? Cancel it, and the credits for every address that hadn't been verified yet are returned to your balance immediately. Nothing is stranded — you keep paying only for the addresses that were actually confirmed.

Example: you start a 3,000-address list and cancel it after about 200 are done. The credits for the remaining ~2,800 addresses go straight back to your balance, ready to use on your next list.

As always, Unknown results are free, so those never counted toward your balance in the first place — a cancelled list simply refunds whatever was still waiting to be checked.

A worked example: clearing a 4,000-contact list today

Say you're on Pro (a monthly free allowance of 300, paced at about 10 a day) and a 4,000-contact list just landed that you want cleaned before tomorrow's send. Here's how credits get you there:

• Step 1 — your free allowance goes first. Your remaining monthly allowance for the day is applied automatically, at its normal daily pace. On Pro that's a small batch — nowhere near 4,000 in one day.
• Step 2 — buy a pack that covers the rest. A 10,000-credit pack ($29) comfortably covers a 4,000-contact list with room to spare — and whatever you don't use stays in your account for next time.
• Step 3 — verify the whole list right away. Because credits skip the daily pace, the list is processed in one steady pass rather than trickling out over weeks. (Very large lists are always handled at an even pace for accuracy — you just don't hit a daily wall.)
• Bonus — Unknown results are free. Any addresses that come back Unknown don't use a credit, so your pack usually verifies a few more than 4,000 addresses in practice.
