How to cancel your subscription or delete your account

These are two very different things, and it is worth being sure which one you want. Cancelling stops future billing. You keep full access to everything until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, nothing is deleted, and you can start again whenever you like. Deleting permanently removes your account and ends your access straight away — it cannot be undone. Both are self-serve and take under a minute: cancel from the Billing page, delete from the Danger Zone on either Settings or Billing.

If you only want to stop paying, cancel — that is almost always the right choice. Deleting is for when you are certain you will never come back.

WarmySender is an agentic outreach platform covering every channel — cold email campaigns, email warmup, LinkedIn, Instagram and multichannel sequences, plus real-time email verification. This guide covers your subscription and your account, so it applies whichever of those you use.

First, a quick check that saves a lot of regret

Before you delete anything, please take ten seconds on this one. A surprising number of people arrive here about an account that only looks empty.

If your dashboard looks empty, or you are being asked to choose a plan you are certain you already pay for, you may simply be signed in with a different email address than the one you subscribed with. It is easy to do — people sign up with a work address and later sign in with a personal one, or with a slightly different spelling, or with an address that forwards into the same inbox. Everything you set up is safe and waiting; it just lives under the other address.

How to check, without deleting anything:

  1. Look at the email address shown in Settings, or at the address on your billing receipt or card statement. Are they the same one?
  2. If they differ, sign out and sign in again with the address on the receipt. On the sign-in screen there is a "Try another email address" option — enter the other address and we will send a sign-in code straight to it.
  3. Sign in there, and your mailboxes, campaigns and plan should all be exactly where you left them.

Deleting the empty-looking account will not touch the real one, but it is a permanent step taken for no reason — and if it turns out the account you are looking at is the paid one, deleting it is not the way to stop the billing. Cancelling is. If you are unsure which account is which, email [email protected] before you delete and we will happily check for you.

Cancel or delete: which one do you want?

A simple way to decide: if there is any chance you will want your data back, cancel. Cancelling costs you nothing extra and leaves the door open.

How to cancel your subscription

  1. Open the Billing page.
  2. Find your current plan at the top — it shows which plan you are on and the date your current period runs to.
  3. Click Cancel Subscription. (If you are still inside a free trial the button reads Cancel Trial.)
  4. Read the confirmation — it tells you the exact date your access runs to — then confirm with Yes, Cancel.

That is it. You will not be charged again, and everything keeps working normally until the date shown. Nothing is deleted at any point in this process.

Changed your mind?

Before the period ends, the Billing page offers to reactivate your subscription — one click and billing simply resumes as if you had never cancelled, with nothing lost. After the period ends you can still subscribe again at any time; you would just be starting a fresh billing period.

Cancelling LinkedIn seats

The LinkedIn add-on is billed separately from your main plan, and it is cancelled from the same Billing page — look for the LinkedIn section and click Cancel Add-On. Your LinkedIn accounts stay connected and your LinkedIn campaigns keep running until the end of the current period, then the accounts disconnect and those campaigns stop.

Two things worth knowing about how the add-on and the main plan relate:

The Instagram add-on works the same way and is cancelled from the same page.

How to delete your account

Deleting is permanent. Please read what gets removed first, and export anything you want to keep before you start.

  1. Cancel any paid subscription or add-on seats first. We will not let an account be deleted while it is still being billed — that is deliberate, so nobody deletes an account and then keeps seeing charges. If anything is still active you will be told so and pointed back to Billing.
  2. Open the Danger Zone. It is in two places, and both do exactly the same thing — use whichever you can reach:
    • SettingsDanger ZoneDelete Account
    • BillingDanger ZoneDelete Account
  3. Click Delete Account. A confirmation window opens listing what will be removed.
  4. Type your account email address in the box exactly as it appears. This is a safety step — the final button stays greyed out until what you type matches the address on the account, so nobody deletes an account by mis-clicking.
  5. Click Delete my account. You are signed out immediately and returned to the home page.

If you still have paid time remaining, the confirmation window says so and offers to take you to cancel instead. That prompt is there for a reason: deleting now ends the plan now, and the days you have already paid for are not refunded.

What gets removed when you delete

Deletion removes your account and everything belonging to it:

None of this can be recovered afterwards — not by you and not by us. If there is anything you might want later, export it first: prospects, campaign data and analytics can all be downloaded as CSV files from inside the app while your account is still open.

Deleting your WarmySender account does not touch your actual email accounts or your LinkedIn or Instagram profiles. Those belong to you and their providers; we simply stop being connected to them.

What happens to your data afterwards

Two different clocks, and it helps to know which is which:

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between cancelling and deleting?

Cancelling stops future payments and nothing else — you keep full access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and none of your data is touched. Deleting permanently removes your account and everything in it, and ends your access immediately. If you only want to stop being charged, cancel. Delete only when you are certain you will not want any of it back.

If I cancel, do I lose access straight away?

No. You keep everything until the end of the period you have already paid for — campaigns keep sending, warmup keeps running, and your data stays exactly as it is. The Billing page shows the exact date. You simply are not charged again after that.

Where do I delete my account?

In the Danger Zone, which appears in two places: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, and Billing → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Both are the same deletion, so use whichever you can get to. It is on the Billing page as well because customers whose trial has ended land there first, and we did not want anyone to be unable to find it.

Why do I have to type my email address to delete?

It is a deliberate speed bump. Deletion cannot be undone, so we ask for one action that could not happen by accident. The final button stays disabled until what you type matches the address on the account exactly, which makes an accidental deletion practically impossible.

Do I need to cancel before I delete?

Yes. If a paid subscription or add-on seats are still active, deletion is refused and you are pointed to the Billing page to cancel first. That is on purpose — deleting an account with live billing attached is exactly how people end up seeing charges for something they thought was gone. Cancel first, then delete.

What exactly gets removed when I delete?

Your account and workspace, any team members in that workspace, every connected mailbox, all campaigns and sequences with their history, all prospects and lists, and all warmup history and settings. Your actual email accounts and your LinkedIn and Instagram profiles are not affected — they are yours, and we just stop being connected to them. Export anything you want to keep before you delete.

How long is my data kept after I delete?

Your access ends immediately, and your data is deleted within 30 days. We keep only what we are legally required to, such as billing records. This is set out in our Terms of Service.

Can I undo a deletion?

No. Once deletion completes, the account and everything in it are gone and cannot be restored — by you or by us. If there is any doubt at all, cancel instead: cancelling costs nothing extra, keeps your access to the end of the period, and leaves everything intact so you can pick it up again later.

Still not sure?

We answer within 24 hours on business days — and we would much rather hear from you before a deletion than after one.
