How to See Which Recipients Opened Your Emails

Yes — WarmySender shows you exactly which recipients opened your campaign emails, and how many times. Open tracking is built into every cold email campaign and is turned on by default.

Where to see who opened (step by step):

  1. Go to Campaigns and click the campaign you want to check.
  2. Open the Prospects tab — this lists every recipient enrolled in the campaign.
  3. Look at the Opens column (the eye icon). Each recipient shows a green badge with the number of times they opened your email, or a dash if they have not opened it yet.
  4. To see only the people who opened, use the engagement filter above the list and choose 'Opened'. Choose 'Not opened' to find everyone who has not opened yet — handy when planning a follow-up.
  5. To work with the data outside the app, click Export and open the CSV. It includes an 'Opened' (Yes/No) column and an 'Open Count' column for every recipient.

Campaign-wide open numbers:

How open tracking works:
A tiny invisible image (a 1x1 tracking pixel) is added to each campaign email. When the recipient opens your email and their email app loads images, that pixel records an open. Both first opens and repeat opens are counted, so the Open Count reflects how many times each person returned to your message.

Turning it on or off:
Open tracking is on by default. You can toggle Track Opens (and Track Clicks) per campaign in the campaign's tracking settings when you create or edit a campaign.

A note on accuracy (please read):
Open tracking is an industry-standard signal, but no pixel-based open tracking is ever 100% precise:
• Some recipients and providers — for example, Apple Mail with Privacy Protection — block or pre-load images, which can hide or inflate opens.
• Corporate security scanners sometimes open links and images automatically before a human ever sees the message, which can briefly push raw numbers up. WarmySender filters known scanners out of your displayed numbers and caps Open Rate at 100%, so you never see an impossible figure.
• For these reasons, treat Open Rate as a strong directional signal, and treat Reply Rate as your most reliable measure of genuine interest.

Is this the same as warmup?
No. Open tracking is a campaign feature — it tells you when your real prospects open your outreach. Email warmup is a separate system that builds your sender reputation in the background; it does not track recipient opens. If you want to know who opened your outreach, send it as a campaign as described above.

Don't have a campaign yet?
Open tracking starts working the moment you send your first campaign. See 'Getting Started with WarmySender' and 'Setting Up Your First Campaign' to set one up.
