How Do I Switch My LinkedIn Seats to Annual Billing?

Yes — you can move LinkedIn seats you already own onto annual or 3-year billing whenever you like, and you can add more seats on a longer term in the same step. Nothing is cancelled, you keep every seat you have, and your connected LinkedIn accounts are not touched.

What each term costs, per seat:

A worked example. Say you have 5 LinkedIn seats billed monthly. At $15 each that is $75 a month, or $900 across a year. Move those same 5 seats to annual and you pay $600 for the year — a saving of $300. Put them on the 3-year term instead and you pay $1,440 for three years, against $2,700 if you stayed monthly — a saving of $1,260.

How to switch:

  1. Open Billing.
  2. Find your LinkedIn seats card — the one showing how many seats you have.
  3. Choose Monthly, Annual or 3 Years.
  4. Check the Now and After figures we show you before you commit. They are your real numbers, not a generic price list.
  5. Confirm. The change is live straight away.

Adding seats and changing term at the same time. You do not have to do these one after the other. Going from 1 monthly seat to 5 annual seats is a single step and a single charge — set the number of seats you want and the term you want them on, and confirm once.

You are never charged twice for the same days. When you switch, the unused time left on your current seats is worked out and credited against the new charge, so you only pay the difference. If that credit is larger than the new charge — which can happen moving from a longer term to a shorter one — there may be nothing to pay at all.

One rule to know: a seat term can never be longer than your plan's term. Seats are only useful alongside an active plan, so we do not let you prepay for seats past the end of the plan they depend on:
• On a monthly plan, seats bill monthly.
• On an annual plan, seats can bill monthly or annually.
• On a 3-year plan, seats can bill monthly, annually or every 3 years.
If the term you want is not offered, move your plan to that term first and the seat options open up.

A few honest details:

Still unsure which term is right? Annual is the sensible default if you expect to run LinkedIn outreach for the next year, and the 3-year term is worth it if you are settled on how many seats your team needs. If you are still testing, stay monthly — you can move up at any time.
