When Do Affiliate Referrals and Earnings Show Up?
Short answer: someone who signs up through your affiliate link appears in your referral list right away — but earnings only begin once they purchase a paid plan. Seeing referrals next to $0 earnings usually just means your referrals haven't upgraded yet, not that anything is broken.
When a referral appears
The moment someone creates a WarmySender account after clicking your link (within 60 days of the click), they're credited to you as a referral and show up on your Affiliate Program page. At this point they may still be exploring on a free account — no money has changed hands yet, so there's nothing to earn a commission on.
When earnings begin
Your commissions start when a referral becomes a paying customer. From their first plan payment onward, you earn 50% of every plan payment they make, net of payment processor fees, for their first 12 months as a paying subscriber. Commission is on plan payments only — add-ons such as LinkedIn are not commissionable.
When you can withdraw
Each commission becomes available to withdraw after a 45-day holding period (this covers the refund window — if a payment is refunded, the matching commission is reversed). Once your available balance reaches the $100 minimum, you can request a payout from the Affiliate Program page.
Track each referral's status
Your affiliate dashboard shows every referral individually — a masked email for privacy, plus whether they've upgraded to a paid plan yet — alongside your personal funnel from clicks to signups to paying customers. So you can always see exactly where each referral stands and why your earnings are what they are.
A typical timeline
1) Someone clicks your link and signs up — they appear as a referral immediately.
2) Days or weeks later they upgrade to a paid plan — your first 50% commission is recorded.
3) 45 days after that payment — the commission becomes available to withdraw.
4) Your available balance passes $100 — request a payout from the Affiliate Program page.
